It Ain’t Just About You

It Ain’t Always About You

Hey there! Have you ever noticed that sometimes it feels like others succeed effortlessly in certain areas while we struggle and have to work twice as hard? It can be so frustrating when we pray for a breakthrough, but it seems out of reach.

But let me share with you a revelation that God gave me. I often found myself in the same position, especially in my ministry, where I pray for others with the same issues I have, and they receive answers while I don't. I used to complain a lot about it, until God told me something eye-opening: "this ain't just about you."

You see, when we pray for a breakthrough in a specific area, it's not just for ourselves. We are actually breaking cycles and curses that have been passed down through generations! No wonder the battle feels tough. But here's the thing, the battle may feel hard, but the reality is: God already gave the victory!

Ephesians 6:10-18 helps us better understand that we fight FROM a position of victory, not FOR victory. Before the battle even comes, we are already winners. We only fight to enforce our victory until manifestation. However, God allows us to go through these battles to strengthen our faith, build our prayer life, and reveal His mysteries to us.

So, when you pray for a breakthrough in your marriage, your finances, your job, etc… you are not only praying for yourself. You are also dismantling any negative influences from your family's past, opening doors for your loved ones, even clearing the path and creating a legacy for generations to come! It's so much bigger than just you.

So, my friend, be encouraged today. Keep pressing forward, keep praying, and keep fighting. Your children and future generations will reap the benefits of your prayers. Sooner or later, you will see the fruit of your faithfulness.

Stay strong, keep believing, and know that God is with you every step of the way. You are making a lasting impact, and your prayers are powerful.
